Self-Guided Guide
Getting Started
PhysioFlow lets you manage your own training independently. Here's how to get going:
- Register — Create an account on the registration page with your name, email, and password.
- Browse workouts — All available workouts appear on your home page. Tap a card to view the exercise list.
- Play a workout — Tap Play on any workout to start the guided session with timers, voice cues, rest countdowns, and auto-advancing exercises.
- Track progress — After each session, complete a quick wellness check-in (pain, soreness, sleep, energy, session effort). Visit the Progress page to see your history.
Browsing Workouts
Your home page shows all available workouts — timed, strength, cardio, and mobility work. Look for these indicators:
Individual Workouts
Focus on a specific body area or training goal with a set of exercises.
Composite Workouts
Marked with a sections badge — combine multiple sub-workouts into one session with automatic transitions between positions.
Filter & Search
Use the search bar or category filters to find workouts for specific body areas or goals.
Playing Workouts
Player Controls
Play / Pause
Start or pause the current exercise timer.
Next Exercise
Skip to the next exercise in the workout.
Previous Exercise
Go back to the previous exercise.
Exercise List
View all exercises and jump to any one.
Set Logging
For strength exercises, log each set as you go — weight, reps, and RPE — so your training history builds automatically.
Rest Timers
Between sets of a strength exercise, a rest countdown runs automatically so you know exactly when to start the next set.
Pre-Start Settings
Configure these options before starting:
Auto-advance
Automatically move to the next exercise when the timer ends. Turn off to advance manually.
Sound
Enable or disable beep sounds for countdowns and transitions.
Voice (TTS)
Text-to-speech announces exercise names, rep counts, side changes, and breathing cues.
Instructions
Show a full instruction screen before each new exercise with details, category, and notes.
Voice Commands
Control the workout hands-free. Say "pause", "resume", "next", or "previous". Requires microphone permission.
Voice Commands
When voice commands are enabled, the app listens via your microphone. Supported commands:
| Say | Action |
|---|---|
| "Pause" or "Stop" | Pauses the workout |
| "Resume", "Play", "Start", or "Continue" | Resumes the workout |
| "Next" or "Skip" | Skips to the next exercise |
| "Previous" or "Back" | Goes to the previous exercise |
Voice recognition works best in quiet environments. A pulsing red microphone icon appears in the control bar when active.
Section Transitions
Position Changes
Composite workouts include automatic transition screens between sections. A countdown timer and voice announcement guide you. You can skip the transition early with the Skip button.
